Lee Curtis started his career working as a carpenter and soon afterward began working with his father at V.A.Curtis & Associates, Architect – Structural Engineer in Tampa Bay. One of his first projects was assisting in the design of a 10 story Condominium on Madeira Beach where he worked as a carpenter foreman after the completion of the plans. While with V.A. Curtis & Associates, Lee worked on a wide variety of projects including many Beachfront High Rise Condominiums, Churches, and Medical Buildings (Largo Medical Arts Center) among many other commercial retail buildings. Lee also spent over one year working with Arthur Rutenberg Homes and has completed projects with other local Tampa Bay Architects, Automobile Dealerships, Hotels, and School Board Projects.
